Serving Fort Collins CO, Longmont, Crystal Lakes, Livermore, Glen Haven, Boulder, Severance, Cheyenne WY, Laramie WY, and the surrounding towns & communities in Boulder County, Weld County, and Larimer County, our hearth industry experts have been providing beautiful custom fireplace remodels & fireplace makeovers for over a decade. As people grow in their homes, they make decorative changes throughout, often overlooking the fireplace. We can help refresh your space by adding a beautiful new mantel or replacing dated brickwork with modern natural stone. Not all fireplace design ideas need to include a home built in the wall fireplace.fireplace remodel

Don’t forget, stone also makes for a beautiful fireplace surround and in some cases even a mantel. The approximate costs and value of a typical Fireplace Remodeling project are summarized below. Replaced and covered the brick on our 1980’s brick fireplace and installed custom built cabinets and granite tile around the electric fireplace insert.

The manufacturer of the fireplace requires that no combustibles by placed within 18” of the vents. There are even veneer stone and brick materials that are fairly easy to apply that can give your fireplace a very traditional look. Rebecca and Larry had a very rustic looking fireplace with built-in heavy pine cabinets.fireplace remodel

David and Mary had a typical brick fireplace that had a built in bookshelf added to it. The look was not only dated, but made the room feel small and crowded. He used a paint around the fireplace brought out some of the warmth in the tile. Since our home improvement projects began a few months ago, we’ve had new carpet installed throughout our home, new tile installed in the entry hall, new flooring installed in the kitchen and dining room, and our fireplace has been remodeled.fireplace remodel

Okay confession: this next photo is from my old house but I love that it kind of shows you how to arrange it. I didn’t want to give dimensions because every single fireplace we’ve done (out of the 4 we’ve built/in the middle of building) have been very different dimensions.
